And as more and more cyclists around the globe today choose to store their machine inside, even in the living room, our floor lamp is the perfect fit for any home, even the most sophisticated.
In fact, not only it’s a breath-taking floor lamp that illuminates the room with radiant light and, thanks to its sleek contemporary design, stands out in all surroundings like a luminous sculpture. But, above all, as a freestanding bike rack, it stores the bicycle upright, enhancing the frame design and… saving a lot of space.
The first models have been launched with a subtle matte finish, available in different shades; now we are offering another eye-catching option: the Glossy editions.
The glamorous glossy finish is available in several colours: optical white, all black, cosmic silver, night blue, pale pink and red lacquer. Six shades that can easily match all kinds of home decor.
A few details on the product. VERTIK’s stem – shaped as our handlebar-shaped logo – is made of hand-varnished aluminium on one side and plexiglass on the other: two halves that mirror one another to create a silhouette that changes from every perspective. Inside the shell, a LED string casts a dimmable neutral light in the room highlighting the beauty of the bicycle.
The lamp is provided with a high-tech touch sensor switch: you tap on it to switch VERTIK on and off, while you can dimmer its luminosity by pressing the sensor with your finger. When the floor lamp is switched on, a luminous blue dot points out the sensor.
VERTIK’s dome-shaped base has a groove in the middle, designed wide enough to fit all kinds of wheels, from fat bikes’s to street racer’ to mountain bikes’s.
A spheric cap embellishes the stem’s junction, enhancing the lamp’s flexuous lines.
The base, made of hand-varnished rigid polyurethane, sits on a revolving metal apparatus: it allows you to direct the lampshade according to your needs. And it makes it easier to park the bike, you just swivel it around to accommodate the wheel and then orientate it in the right position.
When you use the Vertik for the first time, you have to set the height for the provided leather-covered metal pin: it can support the fork or block it from above, you decide which is easier for you. Once the back wheel is placed in the groove, you lift your bike upright and screw the pin in the suitable threaded hole once for all… unless you decide to change your bike, of course!
Before screwing the pin in the threaded hole, you tuck it in the leather fork strap, provided with a row of black automatic buttons. You just wrap the strap around the fork and close the button. Thanks to its adjustable length, it securely blocks all kinds of bicycles.
VERTIK doesn’t need any assembly: it’s delivered already mounted, ready to be switched on.
