As more and more cyclists around the globe choose to take their beautiful bikes inside, even in the living room, space-saving solutions are much welcomed. VERTIK is the most innovative answer: not only it’s a breath-taking floor lamp that illuminates the room with radiant light and, thanks to its sleek contemporary design, stands out in all surroundings like a luminous sculpture.
But, above all, as a freestanding bike rack, it stores the bicycle upright, enhancing the frame design and… saving a lot of space. It’s a radical innovation that turns a new light on your passion.
The subtle mineral finish of VERTIK Bronze adds to the bike rack an eye-catching glow, that stands out in all surroundings.
VERTIK Bronze’s stem – shaped as our handlebar-shaped logo – is made of satin aluminum on one side and plexiglass on the other: two halves that mirror one another to create a silhouette that changes from every perspective.
Inside the shell, a LED string casts a dimmable neutral light in the room highlighting the beauty of the bicycle. The lamp is provided with a touch sensor switch: you tap on it to switch it on and off, while you can dimmer its luminosity by pressing the sensor with your finger.
When the floor lamp is switched on, a luminous blue dot points out the sensor.
The dome-shaped base has a recess in the center, designed to fit any type of wheel, from the slimmer track’s to the MTB’s or fat bike’s.
A spherical hood seals the joint of the stem, enhancing the curvilinear shapes of the lamp.
The base, made of rigid polyurethane and painted by hand, rests on a swiveling metal apparatus that allows you to direct the cone of light according to your needs. And it makes it easier to park the bike: you swivel it to insert the wheel into the base, then you orientate it to the desired position.
When you use VERTIK Bronze for the first time, you set the height for the leather-covered metal pin: it can support the fork or block it from above, you decide which is easier for you. Once the back wheel is placed in the base groove, you lift your bike upright and screw the pin in the suitable threaded hole once for all… unless you change your bike!
Before screwing the pin in the threaded hole, you tuck it in the leather fork strap, provided with a row of automatic buttons. You just wrap the strap around the fork and close the button. Thanks to its adjustable length, it blocks all kinds of bicycles.
VERTIK Bronze doesn’t need assembly: it’ comes already mounted, ready to be switched on.
