Boosting both features, GENUS I LUX adds to the original wall mount’s performance the atmospheric beauty of lighting: the vertical bike rack that doubles as a gear hanger, now serves also as a beautiful dimmable wall lamp.
Not only you can store your machine and cycling accessories on the GENUS I LUX. Its backlighting effect brings a spectacular halo around the bike, and it illuminates the ambient with a glare-free white light that enhances the solid wood’s texture. You can choose among three essences: natural ash, black oak, Canaletto walnut.
GENUS I LUX lighting system is provided with a LED frame mounted on the back: you can dimmer its luminosity by pressing the touch sensor switch positioned on the top. The electric plug mounted before delivery is suitable for every country.
Its organic, essential design recalls the shape of a cactus tree, featuring a rounded solid wood trunk, and seven solid wood branches for the gear.
As a unique feature on the market, GENUS I LUX is provided with an adjustable wheel hook, covered in precious leather, that fits all bicycle sizes. You customize its position by screwing the iron plate at the height convenient for your bike. The hook is 8 cm deep: it lets you hang most of the wheels; if yours have high rims, also the Hook XL, which is 11 cm deep, is available.
The seven hand-milled branches feature different inclinations and lengths, according to the accessory that will be hung on them.
The two longest are for the top of the wall mount: the right hook is designed to store the helmet, while the one on the left it’s perfect for the cycling clothes. The three hooks positioned in the middle of the trunk have been conceived to let you hang a wide variety of different accessories: all kinds of bags hats and cycling caps, sunglasses, devices, and all your cycling gadgets. The two branches on the bottom are meant for the cycling shoes.
To help you stow your apparel with the smallest footprint, GENUS I LUX is provided with one Organizer Band, made of black elastic with our hand-embroidered logo in white: you use it to wrap your bib pants or jackets.
GENUS I LUX is very easy to mount. It’s equipped with two anchor plates (their matching plates are mounted on the back of the trunk) and four anchors, suitable for all kinds of walls (drywall, too). A cardboard targeting mask is included. Once you’ve screwed the anchors into the wall, you just hang the trunk on the matching plates.
With the provided Allen key you fasten the provided screw into the threaded hole at the bottom, to block the rack to the wall. GENUS I LUX carries up to 35 kg: also the MTB and the e-bikes can be hung on it (with the gear).
And it’s extremely easy to use: once you’ve secured it on the wall, at the most comfortable height, you lift the bike upright on the back wheel and then hang the front wheel. That’s it.
